The Album ‘Three Friends’ was recorded at Advision and Command Studios in 1972. At the time of recording the track ‘Peel The Paint’ Derek, the singer, told myself and Gary, the guitarist, to go into the recording room and “do something” for about two minutes. The live improvisation Gary and I made became a section to Peel The Paint.
