I joined GT Moore and the Reggae Guitars in 1973. It was quite a contrast from Gentle Giant but I love Reggae music so I joined the band. When we recorded this album we had a recording engineer called Tony Platt who had just finished recording Bob Marley and the Wailers Burnin album and he showed me how to tune the kit to get the right sound. We were the first band to cover Knocking On Heavens Door in this style. and when the great man heard it (Bob Marley) he said ... 'mmmm yeah OK'
